What Eurowings Looks For

CV Format & Language
Submit your CV in English through the Lufthansa Group portal. Two pages maximum. Structure: personal details (nationality, languages with documented levels), flight experience with ICAO-formatted hours, licences and ratings, type ratings (A320 family experience is the strongest signal), education, and additional qualifications.
List German and English proficiency prominently with certification details. You typically don't choose your entity at application stage — the Lufthansa Group assigns you based on operational need. However, understanding the distinction shows research depth. If you have a base preference, you can express it during the selection process.
Photo Policy
Most European airlines do not require a photo on your CV, and including one can trigger unconscious bias concerns in some HR departments. Do not add a photo unless the airline specifically requests one on their careers page.

The DLR (Deutsches Zentrum fuer Luft- und Raumfahrt) aptitude test is required for candidates entering via the European Flight Academy pathway. If you have a valid DLR certificate, mention it prominently. If applying via direct entry, the DLR is typically not required but having passed it signals quality to Lufthansa Group HR.

Omitting DLR status. The DLR test is a hard prerequisite. If you have a DLR certificate, state the rating (A or B) and date clearly. If you haven't taken it yet, mention that you are registered — the Lufthansa Group won't process applications without DLR compliance.
